About Baron's Barbeque Sauce
We always get asked... "why did you name your barbeque sauce after a dog?". The only response we have is the following..."It is an exceptional sauce named after an exceptional dog!".
Troll Foods officially began producing barbeque sauce in 2006 selling it as a farmer's market product. We began this project, in part, because of where we live. Living in northern Minnesota, the local tastes are not exactly to our liking. We call just about everything up here "the Norweigen version" of the dish. For example, "Norwegian Chili" has about 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder in it, and many of the locals consider this "spicy, yah". This was not exactly what we were used to. Luckily, we had ths great recipe for barbeque sauce (which we hopped up a little), and now we can use it on all of the "Norwegian Versions" of our favorite dishes.
Fortunately for our customers, we began selling the barbeque sauce commercially in 2011. Many of our customers have told us that they have become "addicted" to the sauce, and use it on everything from baked potatoes to pizza to scrambled eggs to using it as a chip dip.
However you decide to use Baron's Barbeque Sauce, we hope you enjoy it. If you come up with any hair-brained ideas on how else to use it, please let us know and we will try to share them with all of our fans.
